Nutritional Therapy
How it can help you
A balanced diet filled with nutrient-dense, quality foods can be incredibly healing. By incorporating phytonutrient-rich ingredients, using bioavailable supplements therapeutically, and addressing the root causes of health issues, we can move from illness to wellness.
For me, it’s not just about treating symptoms—it’s about creating sustainable, long-term health by addressing the root cause of the dis-ease.

About Nutritional Therapy
The Journey to Wellness

Nutrition is powerful
When I think about nutrition, I can’t help but reflect on how much things have changed since the days of our ancestors, the hunter-gatherers.
They lived closely with nature, sourcing their food directly from the earth and wild animals. Their lives were filled with movement—climbing trees, foraging for root vegetables, and hunting for their meals. This way of life naturally provided them with a diverse and nutrient-rich diet of meat, vegetables, fruits, and honey, keeping them healthy and full of energy. After a successful hunt, they gather around a fire, sharing stories and preparing meals. I imagine how the shift from the sympathetic fight or flight state of the hunt to a rest and digest state of relaxation helped their parasympathetic nervous system thrive. Even in old age, they remained vibrant and strong.

How things have changed
Today, life looks so different. Modern conveniences have taken us far from the simple wisdom of our ancestors.
While technology has advanced, it’s come at a cost to our health. Chronic stress and fast-paced lifestyles have left us vulnerable to illnesses like heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Even the soil our food grows is treated with pesticides, hormonal sprays, and other chemicals for faster yields and more significant profits. It breaks my heart to see how this has disconnected us from the purity of nature, leaving so many of us struggling with chronic health issues.
The right dietary choices change lives
As a nutritional therapist, I’ve seen how powerful nutrition can be as medicine. Time and again, I’ve witnessed how the right dietary choices can transform lives. It amazes me how much of our physical and mental health is tied to what we eat.
It's not just about the food itself; it's also about how we eat
Modern habits like eating on the go or while stressed keep our bodies in constant “fight or flight,” making it nearly impossible to digest and absorb the nutrients we need to feel our best.

How's your relationship with food?
I often encourage my clients to take a moment and think about their relationship with food.
Are you eating to nourish and heal yourself, or are you simply getting by with convenience?
By choosing whole, unprocessed foods and creating moments of rest around meals, we give our bodies the space to heal and regenerate. In today’s fast-paced world, reconnecting with the simple wisdom of our ancestors might be the most profound way to find true wellness.

About HTMA Tests
Gain insights into your mineral and toxin levels for a deeper understanding of your health.
The HTMA is a screening tool whereby the hair is tested using ICP-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), this is not a bioenergetic test, it specifically tests for minerals and toxic elements. As the hair grows, mineral patterns, their deficiencies and the presence of toxic metals leave a story of your biochemistry over the last 3 months. HTMA mirrors what is happening at a cellular level within your body. With this test I can evaluate patterns of hidden toxic metals, possible low iron issues, copper dysregulation, potential emotional ‘shutdown’ and more.
The belief is that if there are no toxic metals in the hair, then the body is 'clear' from them, this is incorrect, as we all are exposed to toxins including toxic metals, so they should be somewhat present but at lower levels. It is a fascinating test and one that provides insights into potential blood sugar issues, adrenal 'fatigue', cellular hypothyroidism and more. However, blood tests are only a snapshot in time. How many times have you been told, ‘your blood tests results are all normal’ but you do not feel ‘normal’? This is a common occurrence in health and well-being. HTMA is a key tool in helping resolve symptoms that can’t be explained. HTMA also determines your metabolic type, allowing me to tailor your nutrition requirements, supplements programme and lifestyle adjustments from your unique 3-month biochemical blueprint aka your HTMA.
